My name is Todd Brewer, I'm a photographer in Graham, Texas. I designed my first dual flash umbrella bracket in late 2006. I like to use the 60" Photek Softliter II on many of my shoots because of the quality of light it gives. On location, two speedlights are often needed due to the size of this umbrella and because of the diffusion panel used to further soften the light. I had no luck finding an affordable solution to mount two speedlights and keep the umbrella shaft in line with the flash heads. I decided to build my own bracket for use with the single shoe umbrella adapter I already had. This allowed me to use it in a SuperClamp also. My first bracket design was effective, but ugly and heavy. After hearing from others about this same issue regarding an affordable solution to this dilemma, I did some redesign on my bracket and came up with what I think is a lightweight, portable, efficient, affordable, adaptable tool for working photographers. And I decided to guarantee satisfaction for the lifetime of the product.
